SSP USA focus is to conduct charitable and relief activities for those in need as well as to spread cultural awareness in the community to bring Unity.

SAI BHAKTI RATH

SSP USA has created a beautiful divine Shree Sai Bhakti Rath in India. It will be in Georgia soon and October 31, 2015 there will be a celebration for its arrival hosted by SSP USA. The main purpose of the Sai Bhakti Rath is to spread the words and teachings of Shree Shirdi Saibaba and bring blessing of Shree Saibaba to all the communities. The Sai Bhakti Rath will be doing a Rath Yatra around the all of America. Any donations obtained from the Rath Yatra will be used to build a one of a kind unique Shree Saibaba Temple in Locust Grove, Georgia. Remember that this Temple will serve as a world peace center to carry out humanitarian efforts to bring peace and unity in all communities.

SAI BHAJANS

On a regular basis every other Thursdays Shree Shirdi Saibaba bhajans are held in Macon, Georgia. Here all the Sai devotees get together and perform Satsung, Dhun, Bhajans, Aarti, and enjoy Prasadam. In the near future Dhyan yoga sessions are planned to be incorporated in these gathering so that individuals can get stress relief.

FEEDING THE HOMELESS

SSP USA routinely feeds the homeless hungry of Atlanta, Georgia on every Saturday early morning. For this service, devotees and volunteers will gather at a location in the early morning and prepare up to 200 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Then they will drive around the streets of Atlanta and seek out individuals who are sleeping on the streets and are hungry and homeless. The members of SSP USA will provide the individual with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a banana, and a bottle of water. Along with breakfast on Saturday mornings, SSP USA also donates clothing and blankets for the homeless.

CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS

SSP USA celebrates all of the Hindu festivals in great numbers and with grand enthusiasm. To name the major festivals SSP USA celebrates to bring cultural awareness are: MahaShivratri, Ramnavmi, Gurupurnima, Janmastami, Ganesh Utsav and Visarjan, Dasera, Diwali, and Indian New Year’s. SSP USA not only celebrates Hindu festivals but also celebrates Christmas and New Year’s. During all the festivals, SSP USA attempts to engage the youth in all sorts of creative activities so that cultural awareness is maintained.

FUTURE ACTIVITES

SSP USA will continue to focus on its mission and maintain current activities. As mentioned above, after the celebration of the Sai Bhakti Rath on October 31, 2015 there will be a Rath Yatra all around America. The donations obtained will be used to build the Shree Shirdi Saibaba Temple in Locust Grove, Georgia. SSP USA is looking to build a peace center, health clinic, as well as senior living on the same land where Temple is to be constructed. Therefore, the donation is for a humanitarian cause for peace and unity. SSP USA is looking into improving waterlines in India, especially in education facilities where children are getting sick due to improper sanitation and cannot perform well. SSP USA is also thinking to help fund the education system so the literacy rate can improve in India.
